ROCKWALL, TX (July 21, 2026) — First United Methodist Church Rockwall will host Financial Peace University, a nine-week financial education course designed to help individuals and couples take control of their money, eliminate debt, build savings, and create a plan for long-term financial success.
Classes will meet Wednesdays from Sept. 16 through Dec. 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. in Building B, Room 123. The class will not meet during Thanksgiving week.
The cost is $80 per person or couple and includes one year of access to all nine video lessons, the Self-Study Workbook, the ability to attend any in-person or virtual Financial Peace University class, and three months of premium access to the EveryDollar budgeting app.
Throughout the course, participants will learn practical strategies for budgeting, paying off debt, building emergency savings, selecting appropriate insurance coverage, investing for the future, and giving generously.
Childcare will be available for children ages 5 and younger (not yet in kindergarten).
