One Team, One Mission: Rockwall Toys for Tots and Helping Hands Partnership Goes Beyond Christmas

ROCKWALL, TX (July 29, 2026) For many years, Rockwall Toys for Tots and Rockwall County Helping Hands have worked side by side to bring smiles to the faces of children throughout Rockwall County. What began as a shared commitment during the holiday season has grown into a strong, year-round partnership focused on one goal: helping local children in need.

After years of building this partnership, Rockwall Toys for Tots is now the official toy drive for Rockwall County, with Rockwall County Helping Hands serving as the primary toy distribution center. Together, the organizations are ensuring that toys collected through Rockwall Toys for Tots go directly to children in need right here in Rockwall County.

The phrase “One Team, One Mission” has become a fitting reflection of their work together. And this year, that mission didn’t stop after Christmas.

This past Saturday, the partnership continued as Rockwall Toys for Tots joined Helping Hands for its annual Backpack and School Supply Program, coming together to help local children start the school year with everything they need to succeed.

This year’s program served 1,800 Rockwall County students, providing each child with a brand-new backpack filled with grade-appropriate school supplies. Rockwall Toys for Tots sponsored 525 of those children, helping ensure they walked into school on the first day prepared, confident and ready to learn.

For both organizations, bringing smiles to children’s faces isn’t limited to one season.

One Team, One Mission doesn’t stop after Christmas. This partnership is year-round, and together, Rockwall Toys for Tots and Rockwall County Helping Hands look forward to finding even more ways to support local children and families in the years ahead.
