Texas Glam meets giving back at Soroptimist International of Rockwall’s 7th Annual Black & White Casino Night

ROCKWALL, TX (July 10, 2026) — Dust off your boots, add a little sparkle, and get ready to play for a purpose as Soroptimist International of Rockwall hosts its 7th Annual Black & White Casino Night – Texas Glam on Saturday, Sept. 19, promising an evening filled with entertainment, fellowship, and philanthropy.

Blue Ribbon News is proud to serve as a media partner for the event, which brings the community together to support programs that uplift women, girls, children, and seniors throughout Rockwall County.

Guests will enjoy a lively casino experience featuring Texas Hold’em, Blackjack, Craps and Roulette, along with a complimentary glass of prosecco upon arrival, a buffet dinner catered by Eddie Deen Catering, music by DJ Josh, live and silent auctions, and prize baskets valued at $75 or more. Every attendee will receive casino chips and a prize ticket, with additional opportunities to win throughout the evening.

The evening’s theme, Texas Glam, encourages guests to dress in classic black and white with their own Lone Star flair—think cowboy boots, rhinestones, statement jewelry, and a little Texas-sized style.

While the games and prizes promise plenty of excitement, the true jackpot is the impact made throughout the community.

Proceeds from Casino Night directly benefit Soroptimist International of Rockwall’s local service projects, including:

• The Pink Bag Project, providing women in need with care packages filled with everyday essentials.
• STARS (Soroptimist Toasting Area Retired Seniors), offering meals, birthday celebrations, fellowship, and encouragement to local seniors.
• Dream It, Be It, an international Soroptimist program that helps girls overcome obstacles, build confidence, explore career opportunities, and pursue their educational goals through mentoring and career support.

In addition to attending the event, local businesses are invited to participate through sponsorship opportunities, providing visibility while investing in programs that create lasting change in the community.
