Registration Open for 11th Annual Bikes for Tykes Teddy Bear Ride

ROCKWALL, TX (July 7, 2026) Motorcycles, teddy bears and community spirit will come together once again as the 11th Annual Bikes for Tykes Teddy Bear Ride rolls into Rockwall County on Sunday, Sept. 20, raising awareness and support for the Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County.

Hosted by Rockwall County Bikes for Tykes and Americas Guardians Law Enforcement/Public Safety Motorcycle Club TX28A, the annual event has become a beloved tradition that combines a scenic motorcycle ride with a meaningful mission: bringing comfort to children who have experienced abuse and trauma while supporting the vital work of the CACRC.

Registration is now open, and riders of all makes and models are invited to participate. Community members who don’t ride are also encouraged to attend the family-friendly event to cheer on participants, browse vendors, bid in the silent auction, and help make a difference for local children.

This year’s ride will feature Texas State Representative Katrina Pierson as Grand Marshal. A longtime supporter of Americas Guardians Motorcycle Club and Bikes for Tykes, Pierson will help lead riders as they depart on this year’s journey through Rockwall County.

Each year, participants are encouraged to bring a new teddy bear, which will be donated to children served by the CACRC. The stuffed animals provide comfort during what can be some of the most difficult moments in a child’s life, offering a small reminder that someone cares.

“The teddy bears may seem like a simple gift, but to a child facing trauma, they can provide comfort, security and hope,” organizers said. “Every rider, volunteer and supporter helps make that possible.”

The CACRC serves children and families affected by abuse by providing a safe, child-friendly environment for forensic interviews, counseling, family advocacy and more. Funds raised through Bikes for Tykes help ensure those critical services remain available to local children when they need them most.

The event will also feature vendors, a silent auction, food and opportunities for the community to gather before the motorcycles depart.

Organizers encourage riders to register early and invite businesses and community members to become sponsors or donate auction items in support of the cause.
