Wild-caught Maine lobster, live music, giveaways, signature cocktails and a chance to win $1,000 headline 12-day celebration
ROCKWALL, TX (Aug. 7, 2026) — Fresh Maine lobster, live music every day, signature cocktails, exclusive merchandise and plenty of chances to win are all on the menu as Dudley’s Sports Grill in Rockwall hosts its first-ever Lobster & Live Music Fest from Aug. 19-30.
The 12-day celebration will transform the popular neighborhood sports grill into a destination for seafood lovers, music fans and anyone looking for a fun night out. Guests can enjoy wild-caught Maine lobster entrées, specialty cocktails crafted for the event, daily giveaways, exclusive lobster-themed merchandise and swag, plus a grand prize raffle for $1,000.
While the live music lineup will be announced soon, organizers promise entertainment every day throughout the festival.
Located at 2975 State Highway 66 in Rockwall, Dudley’s Sports Grill has quickly become one of the area’s favorite gathering spots since opening in 2024. Open daily from 11 a.m. to midnight (until 1 a.m. Saturdays), the restaurant combines scratch-made comfort food, daily specials, brunch, live entertainment and wall-to-wall sports coverage on 24 televisions in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.
Owned by Dallas hospitality veterans Gabriel Rhodes, Jordan Carson, Patrick Gorman, and award-winning Chef Eric Freidline, Dudley’s was founded with the vision of creating an unpretentious neighborhood hangout where everyone feels like a regular. The restaurant is named after Carson’s great grandfather, Floyd Dudley Hitt, whose family roots run deep in Rockwall County.
That hometown spirit has resonated with the community.
Earlier this year, the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce honored Dudley’s as its 2026 Small Business Partner of the Year, recognizing the restaurant’s commitment to community involvement and local partnerships. In May, Dudley’s also claimed the championship title at the Chamber’s popular Battle of the Bites, earning bragging rights among many of Rockwall’s favorite restaurants.
