Dallas, TX —- Craft beer and bar pioneers, Flying Saucer Draught Emporium, located on the breezy banks of Lake Ray Hubbard celebrate Oktoberfest with the annual “Laketoberfest” celebration on Sunday, October 4th beginning at 11am.
Festivities include tastings from a bevy of traditional, local, national and international Oktoberfest brews from the likes of Toppling Goliath, Real Ale, Hacker-Pschorr, Turning Point and Sierra Nevada. Tasting cards can be purchased at the restaurant on Sunday for $25 and includes (6) flight-size pours. The annual stein hoisting competition begins at 3pm.
Bavarian food specials include Jaegerschnitel with German potato salad, Sheboygan sandwiches, pretzels, brats and apple fritters in addition to the popular menu offerings.
