ROCKWALL, TX (Sept. 18, 2026) Rockwall ISD proudly announces that 21 high school students have been named Commended Students in the 2027 NaQonal Merit Scholarship Program.
Fourteen Rockwall High School students and seven Rockwall-Heath High School students have been recognized as Commended for their exceptional academic promise demonstrated by their outstanding performance on the qualifying test used for Merit program entry.
Commended students are placed among the top 50,000 students in the country who entered the competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/NaQonal Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test.
