ROCKWALL, TX (October 22, 2026) – Dodie’s Cajun Diner at The Harbor in Rockwall will honor veterans and active-duty military personnel this Veterans Day by offering a complimentary entrée from a specially selected menu on Wednesday, November 11, 2026.
As a gesture of appreciation for their service and sacrifice, all veterans and active-duty military members are invited to enjoy a free dine-in meal featuring a selection of Dodie’s popular Cajun and Southern favorites.
The special Veterans Day menu includes:
- Crawfish Half & Half: Crawfish étouffée served over steamed rice alongside fried crawfish tails and Cajun fries.
- Cajun Fish Tacos: Lightly blackened fish with Cajun slaw, cheddar cheese, pico de gallo, and étouffée, served with dirty rice.
- Grilled Gulf Shrimp: Eight large Gulf shrimp, lightly seasoned and chargrilled.
- Blackened Chicken Breasts: Two Cajun-seasoned chicken breasts, blackened on the grill.
- Pasta Monica: A New Orleans favorite featuring corkscrew pasta tossed in a rich Parmesan cheese sauce.
- Po’ Boys: Choice of fried catfish, fried shrimp, or blackened chicken, served on French bread with Cajun fries and pickles.
- Fried Plates: Choice of fried catfish, fried shrimp, or chicken tenders, served with French fries.
The complimentary entrée offer is available exclusively to veterans and active-duty military personnel dining at the restaurant on Veterans Day.
