City of Heath to host Community Forum on proposed Noise Ordinance

HEATH, TX (June 15, 2021) A draft of a proposed Noise Ordinance for Heath has been posted at www.heathtx.com for review.

The City currently does not have a Noise Ordinance, and this draft is only a starting point for Heath that is based upon models adopted by other cities. All of the terms, including the hours stated for a commercial business to be able to play sound/live music, will be refined during a process that begins with getting citizen input at the Community Forum from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday, June 17 in the Community Room at Heath City Hall, 200 Laurence Drive. Please be sure to attend so that your voice may be heard!
