ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX (July 8, 2021) Lee Gilbert, Rockwall County Commissioner Precinct 2, has announced that he will not be seeking re-election in the 2022 election cycle.
Commissioner Gilbert is in his second term and said his decision stems from his personal belief that all elected officials should have term limits – in this case a self imposed eight years.
Commissioner Gilbert commented that he appreciates the support that his Precinct 2 residents have given him over the years.
