ROCKWALL/HEATH, TX (Sept. 17, 2021) Zach Wincent, a Heath resident, and entrepreneur with abilities, has had a busy year running his organic soap company, “Soap by Zach”. His hand poured goatmilk and honey soaps are sold online and in local Farmer’s Markets.
To celebrate the upcoming national “Buddy Walk” in New York City, an event that is sponsored by the National Down Syndrome Society (NDSS), Zach and his business is one of many sponsors. Zach has Down syndrome, and it is important for others to know that people with DS can have a small business, too. As part of his small business sponsorship, his logo from “Soap by Zach” will be shared on the giant Jumbotron in Times Square this Saturday, Sept. 18, to launch the NYC Buddy Walk.
Zach started his organic soap company out of his home last September, in response to losing his job and Day Program secondary to COVID restrictions. Zach’s love of science and his mother’s health care experience led him to creating a needed product that is soothing to the skin and provides aromatherapy as well. Zach will also be at the Heath Farmer’s Market in October. Come on by and say hello to this local entrepreneur with abilities.
