ROCKWALL, TX (Jan. 7, 2021) The Terry Fisher American Legion Post 117 is proud to announce the 2022 delegates for Boys State and Girls State. Boys State and Girls State are prestigious nation-wide programs leadership action programs which teaches the Texas political process. The programs are designed to challenge the delegates to help make Texas and America a better place where the applicants run for office, lobby and write bills. The delegates selected underwent a rigorous applicant process including a comprehensive interview conducted by Post members who attended the programs in their youth.
Boys State delegates from Rockwall High are: Addison Brown, Harrison Steinberger, Brett Payne and Tony Favrot. Delegates from Heath are Cameron Knox, Jacob Pabian and Tyler Gentry. Rowlett High delegates are Ryan Roberge and Hayden Shepherd.
Girls State delegates from Rockwall High are: Gracie Cearley, Caroline Forman, Jacqueline Ghormley, McKinley Melcher, Rachel Pereira and Gaby White. Heath delegates are Lily Allen and Marifer Montana.
The Terry Fisher Post is proud and excited for the delegates as they attend their respective programs summer of 2022.
