Offers FREE Introductory Lessons In October
ROCKWALL, TX (Sept. 26, 2022) – For the 7th consecutive year, Rockwall School of Music is partnering with the Keep Music Alive organization in celebration of the national ‘Kids Music Day’. During the week of October 2 – 9, music facilities across the US are joining together to bring the joy of music to the lives of our children.
‘In today’s world, we hear so much about children feeling inferior, experiencing anxiety, and desperately needing a place of acceptance. I created the Rockwall School of Music to be just that, a welcoming and accepting place for the children of our community’, said Russ Porter, RSM’s director.
As a way of bringing music to the children of Rockwall County, RSM is offering a FREE introductory lesson during the week of October 2 – 9 for individuals wanting to explore piano, guitar, ukulele or singing lessons.
Each year, Keep Music Alive partners with over 1,000 music schools, music stores and other music organizations around the world to hold special events that benefit and celebrate kids playing music. Locally, Rockwall School of Music is the primary location for these events to occur.
