ROCKWALL, TX (April 20, 2024) – Calling all car enthusiasts and advocates for children! Get ready to rev your engines for the 2024 Cars for CASA event, a thrilling event benefiting Lone Star CASA hosted by the Metro East Division of the Dallas Builders Association.
Mark your calendars for 10 a.m. Sunday, May 19 and join us at the Rockwall County Courthouse, 1111 E. Yellow Jacket Lane, for a day filled with automotive passion and giving back. This family-friendly event welcomes classic cars, muscle cars, motorcycles, and everything in between. The event is free to attend by the public, and registration for a vehicle is just $30.
More than just a car show, Cars for CASA is a powerful way to support children who have experienced abuse and neglect in our community. Cars for CASA, which is put on annually by more than 40 volunteers, has grown to become one of the most successful auto-shows in North Texas. The first event in 2005 featured 80 cars, and this year we expect there to be well over 400 automotive entries!
In addition, attendees of the event will have the opportunity to enter a raffle & a 50/50 pot. While visiting the Lone Star CASA booth, attendees will be able to learn more about the organization and how to become a volunteer advocate. Lone Star CASA elevates the voices of children who have experienced abuse and neglect in Kaufman and Rockwall counties by appointing trained volunteers to work alongside children and families to help them fulfill their potential. Proceeds from the event will directly impact the lives of children in need, ensuring they have a voice and a chance for a brighter tomorrow.
Registration for participants and sponsors is now open! Register your vehicle for just $30. Visit the website at lonestarcasa.org/cars-for-casa/ for details and registration information. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate your love for cars while making a difference in the lives of children. Together, let’s make a difference – one car (and caring heart) at a time!
