Texas Night Out – Save the Date Tuesday, October 1

ROCKWALL, TX (August 30, 2024) – The Rockwall Police Department is preparing for Texas Night Out which will happen on Tuesday, October 1st, 2024 from 6pm to 8pm. Texas Night Out (also recognized as National Night Out) is an annual community engagement event that seeks to strengthen relationships between law enforcement and the community. On this night, many neighborhoods will host block parties intended to provide an opportunity for neighbors to meet, fellowship, and interact with members of the Rockwall Police Department, Rockwall Fire Department, and other law enforcement agencies in the county. The police department will visit with approximately 20 of these block parties with other community leaders to help foster a true sense of community. We invite the residents to turn off the lights, join your neighborhood block party, bring a lawn chair, and engage with your neighbors and public servants.
