Golden Age of Glamour: Symphony of Color Returns May 1

Kickoff Concert – March 6, offering the community a preview of the talent and artistry to come.

ROCKWALL, TX (Feb. 16, 2026) An unforgettable evening of music, art, and community is set to take center stage as the 4th Annual Symphony of Color returns on May 1 from 6–10 p.m. at Cavender Nissan of Rockwall (1700 I-30, Rockwall).

Presented by the Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony (GRYS) and the Rockwall Art League (RAL), Symphony of Color is more than a gala — it’s an immersive cultural experience where live orchestral performance meets original visual art.

The celebration begins with a Kickoff Concert on March 6 from 7:30–9 p.m. at The Center (108 E. Washington St., Rockwall), offering the community a preview of the talent and artistry to come.

A Gala with a Difference

This signature fundraising event celebrates three core values:

Creativity. Honoring original artistic expression through music and visual art.
Connection. Bringing musicians, artists, sponsors, and guests together in meaningful ways.
Community. Strengthening relationships through shared artistic experiences.

Guests will enjoy live musical performances by GRYS paired with an exclusive gallery walk featuring original works by Rockwall Art League artists. A thoughtfully curated silent auction continues the artistic dialogue, showcasing one-of-a-kind pieces inspired by the intersection of music and visual storytelling.

2026 Theme: Golden Age of Glamour

This year’s theme draws inspiration from the Golden Age of film and performance — interpreted through music and visual art rather than imitation. The evening promises a cinematic, refined, and expressive atmosphere that feels elevated yet warmly welcoming.

Supporting Access to the Arts

Funds raised directly benefit both nonprofit organizations and their shared mission to expand access to high-quality arts education across Rockwall County.

Greater Rockwall Youth Symphony (GRYS)
Founded in 2022, GRYS was created to help fill gaps left by reduced school arts funding. The organization has already served more than 250 students from seven counties — many from at-risk or underserved populations.

  • Nearly 65% of participants receive full, needs-based scholarships.

  • Free instrument access ensures financial barriers never prevent participation.

  • Students serve the community through performances for seniors, veterans, and local nonprofits.

Through structured rehearsals, mentorship, and high expectations, GRYS fosters confidence, resilience, leadership, and personal growth — while strengthening Rockwall County’s cultural vitality.

Rockwall Art League (RAL)
The Rockwall Art League supports working artists through professional development, exhibition opportunities, and access to supplies.

  • Offers hands-on workshops for seniors and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

  • Engages the community through public art initiatives.

  • Provides leadership support to the City of Rockwall Beautification Team.

Together, these organizations ensure more young musicians find their voice, more artists share their vision, and more residents experience the transformative power of music and art.
