Star-studded line-up returns to Tate Farms July 18

ROCKWALL, TX (March 11, 2026) Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County is turning up the volume for a good cause with its 3rd Annual Gone Country Music Fest, set for Saturday, July 18 at Tate Farms, 12992 FM 548.

One of the county’s most anticipated summer events, Gone Country promises an unforgettable evening of live music, mouthwatering barbecue by legendary pitmaster Eddie Deen, local vendors, raffles, and a cash bar—all benefiting Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County.

Proceeds from the event support the organization’s ongoing nutrition programs serving local seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities, while also helping advance its vision for a new Senior Life Center in Rockwall County. Community fundraisers like Gone Country play a vital role in sustaining daily meal delivery and ensuring that no senior in need is placed on a waiting list for meals and support services.

Doors open at 6 p.m. at Tate Farms, a newly renovated indoor event venue located on a family-owned working horse and cattle ranch. Established in 1962 by G.L. Tate Sr., Tate Farms remains one of the last family-owned ranches in Rockwall County and offers a scenic setting for an evening of Texas country music and community spirit.

This year’s lineup features headliner Ryan Berg, along with performances by Johnny Lyons, Austin Valladarez, and Addie McLaughlin, bringing a mix of rising stars and Texas country favorites to the stage.

The event also supports Meals on Wheels Senior Services’ “Welcome to the Table” capital campaign, which is funding construction of a new 22,000-square-foot Senior Life Center underway at 1780 Airport Road near John King Boulevard.

The facility will feature a commercial kitchen, congregate dining center, and administrative offices designed to serve Rockwall County’s growing population of seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities. The commercial kitchen will prepare daily hot meals for homebound clients while also offering lunch service in the congregate center for active seniors and community members.

When not serving Meals on Wheels clients, the congregate center will be available as a community venue, creating additional opportunities for connection and support. Office space will also allow area partner agencies to provide counseling and supportive services onsite.

Once completed, the Senior Life Center will serve as a central hub for senior services in Rockwall County—helping expand meal production, strengthen programs, and further the organization’s mission of ensuring that every senior who needs a meal receives one.

Founded in 1978, Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County currently serves more than 750 unduplicated clients—including seniors, veterans, and individuals with disabilities—and provides more than 95,000 meals annually.
