Rockwall Education Foundation Bowling Classic: A Night of Strikes and Impact

ROCKWALL, TX (April 9, 2026) — The Rockwall Education Foundation (REF) is proud to announce the tremendous success of its annual Bowling Classic, an event that once again brought the community together in support of innovation in education across Rockwall ISD.

Held this spring, the Bowling Classic welcomed enthusiastic teams, sponsors and supporters for an evening of friendly competition, camaraderie and purpose. Thanks to the generosity and engagement of the community, the event raised a record-breaking $52,000 and will provide impactful learning experiences and opportunities for students and teachers throughout the district.

“This event is a perfect example of what makes our community so special,” said Ashlei Neill, Executive Director. “From our sponsors to our bowlers, every participant played a role in making a meaningful difference for our students.”

The Bowling Classic featured high-energy competition on the lanes, exciting raffle opportunities, and a celebratory atmosphere that reflected the REF’s mission of providing what’s otherwise not possible for Rockwall ISD students and educators. The continued growth and success of the event highlight the strong commitment of local businesses, families and community leaders to public education in Rockwall ISD.

And of course, there were trophies: Grand Champion-Raptor IT, First Place Loser-Frost Bank, Rockwall, Most Creative Team Name-LPA Design Studios, Most Spirited Team-The Big Wigs from Rockwall ISD, Most Stylish Alley Attire-The Red Rollers from Celia Hays Elementary and the inaugural REF Baller Award went to Kevin Hadawi, who’s served as emcee of the event for the past three years.

An exceptional highlight of the evening was a surprise giveaway by Ryan Clark with Satterfield & Pontikes Construction, the event’s title sponsor. An impromptu drawing for all Rockwall ISD employees in attendance was held, with the prize being a seven-night Alaskan cruise valued at $4,100. The lucky winner was Anne Anderson, a 2nd-grade teacher from Doris Cullins-Lake Pointe Elementary.

The REF extends its sincere gratitude to all sponsors, teams, volunteers and attendees who made this year’s Bowling Classic such a success. Their support ensures that innovative ideas in classrooms can become a reality while benefiting students across the district.
