ROCKWALL, TX (April 16, 2026) — A cherished Rockwall tradition returns this summer as the 8th Annual For the Love of Lacie Backyard Benefit invites guests to “Meet Me Under the Stars” for an unforgettable evening of music, remembrance, and community impact.
Set for Sunday, June 7, 2026, this intimate private backyard concert will once again feature acclaimed Texas country music star Wade Bowen, whose heartfelt performances have become a signature of the event.
Hosted by Mary Grace Frasier, the evening transforms a North Rockwall home into a magical open-air setting where twinkling lights, live music, and shared purpose come together in honor of Lacie Jo Frasier Bryan.
Now in its eighth year, the event continues to grow in both heart and impact. Proceeds benefit the Lacie Jo Frasier Bryan Memorial Scholarship, established in 2019 to support Rockwall High School female graduates pursuing higher education. To date, 37 scholarships have been awarded, helping young women achieve their academic goals while carrying forward Lacie’s inspiring legacy.
More than just a fundraiser, For the Love of Lacie serves as a living tribute to Lacie Jo’s compassion, strength, and belief in the power of education. The organization’s mission is to inspire and empower the next generation of young women to become educated, independent leaders, ensuring that her spirit continues to make a lasting difference in the community.
This year’s “Meet Me Under the Stars” theme promises an elevated evening beneath the Texas sky, pairing an up-close concert experience with the warmth and generosity that have defined the event from the beginning. Guests will also enjoy crowd-favorite bites from Bootsburgers—a local favorite that brings just the right amount of backyard flavor to match the laid-back, under-the-stars vibe.
Due to the exclusive nature of the gathering, a limited number of tables remain available at $1,500 each. Each table seats six guests, offering an intimate, up-close way to experience one of Rockwall’s most meaningful nights.
Organizers have also recently launched a new website, making it easier than ever to learn more about Lacie’s story and the mission, meet board members, view a photo gallery of past events, and support the cause.
