ROCKWALL, TX (Aril 29, 2026) Roxy Underwood is our first Stingerette Senior Spotlight. Roxy is the daughter of Whitney and Tim Miller and Misti and James Underwood. She is a two-year member of the team and has made a meaningful impact through her positivity, leadership, and involvement both on and off the field.
Roxy also was in the Top 5 placement in Line Tryouts in 2023. Roxy was named Positive Polly in 2025 and currently serves as Social Chair for the 2025–2026 year, helping foster team spirit and connection among her teammates. She also served as Manager in 2025 and was part of Tap Company in 2023-2024.
Roxy has been part of outstanding team successes during her time as a Stingerette. She contributed to the ADTS Overall Best of the Best National Championship Team in 2026 and was also a member of the ADTS Best of the Best Team at Nationals in 2024. Her performance experiences include traveling to and performing at Walt Disney World in 2024, creating lasting memories alongside her team. She was a member of Jacket Babes from 2022–2023 and was recognized as Jacket Babe of the Week.
Beyond drill team, Roxy is actively involved in fine arts and academics. She was a member of Sting A Cappella (2024–2025), and serves as Historian for the International Thespian Society (2025–2026). Roxy is known for her upbeat personality, strong leadership, and commitment to making a positive impact on everyone around her.
Roxy plans to attend the University of Missouri and major in theatrical production and design.
