New Board Installed at May Meeting

ROCKWALL, TX (May 18, 2026) — The Friends of the Rockwall County Library recently announced its 2026-2027 Board of Directors, with community leader Kelli Delozier stepping into the role of President.

Delozier, who serves as Rockwall Market President for HomeBank Texas, succeeds outgoing President Lesli Johnson. Known for her strong community involvement and servant leadership, Delozier has long been active in local organizations, nonprofit initiatives, and community boards throughout Rockwall County.

Through fundraising efforts, advocacy, volunteerism, and community partnerships, the organization plays an important role in enhancing library resources while promoting literacy and lifelong learning across the county.

“As I pass the gavel to the next FOL president, Kelli Delozier, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for an incredible year,” said Johnson. “This year has been truly amazing, and it would not have been possible without the support of everyone who contributed—whether through membership, fundraisers, meetings, book alcove donations, or volunteering. Because of you, Friends of the Library supported the Rockwall County Library with $36,874 in funds for the 2026-2027 year. Thank you for making this year so special! Looking ahead, I am excited for all that the new board has in store.”
