Rockwall ISD Board Adopts Tax Rate Below No-New-Revenue (NNR) Tax Rate

ROCKWALL, TX (Aug. 20, 2026) The Rockwall ISD Board of Trustees adopted a total tax rate of $1.0669 per $100 of taxable property value for the 2026–2027 fiscal year. The rate remains unchanged from 2025–2026 and is below the No-New-Revenue (NNR) tax rate.

The No-New-Revenue (NNR) tax rate – formerly known as the effective tax rate – is the rate calculated to generate approximately the same property tax revenue from properties taxed in both the current and previous year. Rockwall ISD remains committed to responsible financial stewardship and clear communication with taxpayers.
