Rockwall County, TX – Sept. 28, 2026 – At 10:45 a.m. today, Rockwall County Sheriff’s deputies and Fate Police officers responded to a reported stabbing in the 600 block of Alexander Lane.
A female caller contacted the Rockwall County Emergency Communications Center, stating that her son had cut her. A second 911 call reported that a male victim had also been stabbed.
Upon arrival, first responders located both victims outside the home. Rockwall County EMS treated the male victim at the scene before transporting him to Baylor University Medical Center in Dallas. Paramedics treated and released the female victim at the scene.
The suspect barricaded himself inside the home and refused lawful commands to exit. The Rockwall County Emergency Response Team initiated operations to take the suspect into custody. Upon entering the residence, team members located the suspect with apparent self-inflicted injuries. He was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced deceased.
