Rockwall County, TX – Oct. 2, 2026 – Royse City recently kicked off its first Tri-County Leadership Class with an engaging day alongside Precinct 4 County Commissioner John Stacy and other county officials.
The day began at the Historic Courthouse, where Commissioner Stacy and County Judge Frank New shared insights into the Commissioners Court and county operations. The group then toured the 4th-floor jail, gaining a unique perspective on the past.
During lunch, participants connected with notable local leaders, including Justice of the Peace Mark Russo, Justice of the Peace Liana Whitten, District Attorney Kenda Culpepper, and Sheriff Terry Garrett, fostering meaningful conversations.
The day concluded with a tour of the Rockwall County Detention Center provided by Jail Administrator Captain Alex Gray.
This 10-member class brings together leaders from education, healthcare, business, public safety, and local government, aimed at building connections among community leaders and identifying collaborative ways to serve Royse City.
