(Rockwall ISD) The Rockwall Independent School District will host its second annual Memorial Day Celebration at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 24, 2012 at the Rockwall High School Performing Arts Center at Ultey. The venue is located at 1201 T.L. Townsend Drive in Rockwall adjacent to the Rockwall Aquatics Center.
Everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend this community-wide event to help celebrate the service men and women of the United States of America.
Guests will enjoy historic memorabilia in the foyer as they arrive to the event. The program includes district-wide band and choir performances. We will pay tribute to all branches of the armed forces and highlight some Rockwall ISD families with military ties. 
In 2011, the event’s inaugural year, over 800 people attended. This year’s program offers many new elements of tribute, but remains similar in its pride and appreciation for the armed forces.
