(Rockwall ISD) October 21, 2012 – Sheri Fowler, local author and historian, visited second graders at Ouida Springer Elementary. During this visit she took the students on a virtual tour of Rockwall’s history using historical photographs. Fowler explained the historical significance of the city’s namesake, showed images from her book and answered students’ questions.
A special thanks to Ms. Fowler for providing our students with a meaningful end to our unit study.
