(Rockwall ISD – November 27, 2012) Fifth grade students at Cullins Lake Pointe Elementary recently brought the Colonial and Revolutionary periods to life.
The students re-created America’s first Free Enterprise System by researching trades and presenting them to their family and friends as they visited their shops. Visitors used colonial money to purchase their wares.
The students also re-enacted several parts of the American Revolution including George Washington crossing the Delaware.
The Sons of Liberty were present to voice their opposition to Taxation without Representation.
