Rockwall-Heath HS Class of 2013 presents Heath Holiday Home Tour Nov 30
(Heath) November 29, 2012 – A community holiday tradition continues Friday, November 30 when the Rockwall-Heath High School Senior Class of 2013 presents the annual Heath Holiday Home Tour.
Five beautiful homes will be drenched in holiday décor and open for self-guided touring from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The homes will also feature live entertainment and raffle drawings for prizes.
“We are very excited about the array of homes on this year’s tour,” said Tour Co-Chairman Liz Beauchamp. “It’s a great reflection of our community, and we really appreciate the support of each homeowner.”
The tour collection includes two countryside homes; two homes in the upscale neighborhoods of Buffalo Creek and The Hills of Buffalo Creek; and a lakefront home.
“The lakefront property is owned by City of Heath Mayor Lorne Liechty and his wife, Mary,” said Tour Co-Chair Holly Ford. “The Liechty family is known for their hospitality. When they heard about our tour and fundraising efforts, they graciously offered to open their home to benefit RHHS seniors and help set the stage for a great holiday season.”
The City of Heath will also contribute to the day’s festivities with the Annual Holiday in the Park, following at 6 p.m. in Towne Center Park. Festivities include the tree lighting, holiday music performed by the honor choirs of Amy Parks and Pullen Elementary Schools and photos with Santa.
Tickets for the Heath Holiday Home Tour are $15 in advance and $20 at the door of each home. Ticket sale locations beginning November 1 include: RHHS; Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce; Bella’s House; Heath Hair; and American National Bank. Or, contact Holly Ford, 972-672-4823 or Liz Beauchamp, 214-543-2723.
“This is a wonderful holiday outing that friends and family look forward to enjoying together each year,” said Holly. “We’re expecting a great turn out!”
All tour proceeds benefit the Senior Class of 2013’s after prom party at Shenaniganz in Rockwall. The party provides a safe and fun environment for the students to continue their celebration with food, activities and lots of great prizes from 1 a.m. to 5 a.m.
