McLendon-Chisholm recognizes Citizen of the Year

MCLENDON-CHISHOLM (February 17, 2014) Terrell Miller was honored as Citizen of the Year by the McLendon-Chisholm City Council at their most recent meeting.

Miller, a resident of the City of McLendon-Chisholm was honored for his service to the city. Miller headed up the 2013 Springfest committee which worked to raise funds to support the McLendon-Chisholm Volunteer Fire Department. Miller also has served on the committee working on the design of the new McLendon-Chisholm City Hall and as an alternate to the Planning and Zoning Commission.

“Terrell’s unselfish gift of his time to promote the causes of the City is invaluable and in keeping with the mission of the City which is to serve and protect its citizens while preserving our heritage and planning for the future,” said Mayor Gary Moody as he presented a plaque to Miller.
