Chamber to present Taste of Rockwall, Business Expo

Savor the flavor of Rockwall, meet & greet area businesses

ROCKWALL (March 18, 2014) Preparations are underway for the 21st Annual Taste of Rockwall and Business Expo, hosted by the Rockwall Area Chamber of Commerce. The event is sponsored by Lake Pointe Medical Center, and will be 5:30 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 3, 2014 at Rockwall High School,901 Yellow Jacket Lane.

The 2014 Taste of Rockwall and Business Expo is expected to draw more than 1,000 attendees from Rockwall County and beyond. Visitors will enjoy food, fun and live entertainment as nearly 80 local businesses showcase their products and services, and about 30 area restaurants, bakeries and grocers serve up samples of their fare. From South and Central American favorites to Asian, Italian, Cajun and traditional American cuisine, there will be something to delight every taste bud and satisfy every sweet tooth.

The Chamber event serves as both a business-to-business and business-to-general public networking opportunity, as well as a social occasion. Exhibitors and attendees alike will enjoy the high energy, business-friendly atmosphere of the Expo, along with the casual, conversational tone of the tasting experience. Among the highlights of the evening will be the presentation of the “Best of the Best” Awards, recognizing top exhibitors in various categories. Door prizes, raffles and giveaways will add to the excitement.

Tickets are available at the Chamber or through Alliance Bank, American National Bank and Community Bank. Advance tickets are $15/Adults, $5/Kids 5-12. Tickets will also be available at the door for $17/Adults, $7/Kids 5-12. Children under 5 are admitted free.
