ROCKWALL (March 31, 2014) The 14th Annual City of Rockwall Household Hazardous Waste Collection Day is Saturday, April 5 from 9am until 3pm at the Municipal Service Center, 1600 Airport Road – rain or shine. City of Rockwall residents must present a current utility bill or driver’s license for proof of residency.
Household quantities of pesticides, paint products, household cleaners, herbicides, motor oil, automotive chemicals, swimming pool products, and tires with no rims will be accepted. Document shredding and recycling of electronics will also be available. Trained workers will unload hazardous waste from your vehicles. There may be a long wait at the collection site. Please be patient. The contractor and volunteers will work as quickly as possible to collect and identify the materials safely.
