Reduced adoption fees offered to help Rowlett’s homeless pets

ROWLETT, TX (April 9, 2014) The Rowlett Animal Shelter has reached capacity, and in an effort to find homes for as many pets as possible, reduced adoption fees of $25 will be offered on all dogs. In addition, the the Animal Hospital of Rowlett will host a large adoption event this Saturday, April 12.

Adoption package includes: A combination shot, Bordatella for dogs, de-worming, new leash for dogs and a box-type carrier for cats. All of our adult dogs are checked for Heartworms and cats for Feline Aids/Leukemia. A wellness check is provided also for all animals. All animals are started on the New Revolution and are microchipped..

The adoption fees:
$75.00 ($55.00 Seniors 60 and over) for animals who have been sterilized by the shelter
$25.00 ($5.00 Seniors 60 and over) for animals that have been sterilized prior to being brought in
A $5 City Registration for Rowlett residents will be added to the adoption feeIf you are a rescue group interested in rescuing one of Rowlett’s shelter animals, you’ll need to be a 501c3, and have paperwork on file with the shelter. There is no pull fee.
