ROWLETT, TX (October 25, 2014) Qualifying arts organizations in Rowlett may now begin applying for financial grants to assist in their cultural arts programs that benefit Rowlett’s visual and performing arts communities.
Last year a total of $2,000 was awarded to three organizations for instruction and performance opportunities in visual art works and for vocal and instrumental music presentations. Among the qualifications grant fund recipients agree to provide one program or exhibit for the benefit of the citizens of the City of Rowlett during the grant year.
Applications are now being accepted until December 6 for awards to be made in the first quarter of 2015. The full program details including the application submittal form may be found at the City of Rowlett’s, Arts and Humanities Commission web page titled Cultural Grants.
