(ROWLETT, TX – June 14, 2015) Join friends and neighbors for “Fireworks at Bayside” located at 1400 Dalrock Road, just off I-30 Rowlett, from 6 to 10 p.m. Saturday, July 4th.
Celebrate freedom with live music, festival-style foods, children’s activities and the largest fireworks display in Rowlett. There is no admission charge for entry to this hometown celebration, which will be held at the property recently acquired by the city, formerly named Elgin B. Robertson Park.
The live music schedule includes Memphis Soul performing at 6 p.m., followed by Sister Sledge at 8 p.m.
Festival food includes brisket sandwiches, snow cones, nachos, tacos, hot dogs, root beer and much more. The kids will enjoy bounce houses, face painting, a game truck and “Touch-A-Truck”! Note that the Children’s Area will close at 9 p.m. to prepare for Fireworks.
Rowlett’s largest fireworks show will begin at 9:45 p.m.
Free admission and parking. Parking will be available onsite and it is highly encouraged to travel with friends and family also attending the event. Shuttle transportation will also be available only after onsite parking is full from the event site to Church in the City located at 6005 Dalrock Road.
Handicap accessible parking will be located on site adjacent to the event and activities.
