(ROCKWALL COUNTY, TX – August 31, 2015) Meals on Wheels Senior Services of Rockwall County will host its 5th Annual “Rockwall Cares” Caregiver Conference on Friday, October 9 at the Rockwall County Library, 1215 E. Yellowjacket Lane.
Sponsored by MidSouth Bank, the conference will open with exhibits and registration at 8:30 a.m., and will run through 3 p.m. Free breakfast and lunch will be provided to all attendees. The program will provide resources and education for older adults, family members, friends and others who help them. Guest speakers will be Andy B. Crocker, M.S. Extension Program pecialist Gerontology and Health, Texas AgriLife Extension; Jenni Barnes Smith, Elder Law Attorney and Counselor; Alzheimer’s Association presentation; Mary Jane Douglas, Benefits Counselor, North Central Texas Heritage on Aging; and Doni Green, North Central Texas Area Agency on Aging.
