Suzie Q Pin-Ups is the newest addition to local lifestyle photographer Suzie Bell’s line-up of on-location, editorial style portraits.
What’s an editorial style portrait, you ask? Suzie Bell answers that question on her website, SuzieBell.com:
“Ever flip through a magazine and see those amazing photographs of your favorite actor or actress when they are promoting an album or a blockbuster movie? Think Vanity Fair, Rolling Stone, Details Magazine, W Mag or even your favorite movie and you want to recreate a scene or (editorial illustration) a series of scenes.
Example: maybe you want a retro 50’s pin up shoot, a Janis Joplin inspired photo shoot or you want to recreate The Notebook. Think about it, you can be Allie and have your very own Noah! Alice in Wonderland would make a great family portrait or even The Adams Family! You bring the wardrobe, accessories and yourselves and together we will create a unique experience for you. It’s your concept, I just help make it your reality.”
Suzie Bell lives in Fate, about 20 minutes east of Rockwall, but serves all of Dallas and surrounding areas. She’s a wife, mother, and a connoisseur of Starbuck’s Caramel Machiatos, which is perhaps what keeps her creative energy flowing.
As for the photographer’s newest, hottest Suzie Q Pin-Ups, Suzie says that Moms sometime need to “get their sexy back.” In an effort to help mothers remember they have another name besides “MOM!”, she is offering women the chance to realize their “inner bombshell” through vintage-inspired 40s and 50s “tasteful” pin-up portraits.
Melissa, featured here, decided to celebrate her birthday with a Suzie Q Pin-Up portrait session.
“She wanted to show that moms can be sexy, too, and boy did she come through!” Suzie said.
