(HEATH, TX – Oct 15, 2015) It’s always a treat when the younger citizens of Heath come to City Hall! On October 13, the First United Methodist Church Heath Missions Group attended the City Council meeting to donate pet oxygen/resuscitation kits for all Heath DPS emergency response vehicles.
The students raised over $900 to purchase the kits, which include specially-designed animal masks to be used both on conscious pets that have suffered from smoke inhalation and pets that need to be resuscitated after losing consciousness from exposure to toxic fumes.
Students making the presentation from left, Giddian Bellamy, Kennedy Jacobson, Bird Bellamy and Kaitlyn Jacobson. Heath DPS officers from left are Brandon Peterson, Chief Terry Garrett, Cody Whaley, Lance Ludtke, and Greg Givens.
