Rockwall County’s new Children’s Advocacy Center gets holiday boost from North American Title

Area residents who donate to the center will be entered into drawing for $50 gift card

(ROCKWALL, TX – Dec. 11, 2015) The Rockwall branch of North American Title Co. has chosen the county’s new Children’s Advocacy Center for its holiday charity, asking area residents to make a donation at its office through Friday, Dec. 22. The office will have a tree featuring “golden tickets” for those who donate to the center, with each ticket entered into a drawing on Dec. 23 for a $50 Target gift card. Anyone wearing holiday attire will receive an additional ticket with their donation.

“The Children’s Advocacy Center for Rockwall County is in the planning and development stage, and is expected to open its doors in 2016,” said Crystal Widman, business consultant, North American Title Rockwall branch. “This facility will provide a multi-agency coordinated approach to the investigation, prosecution and treatment of child sexual and physical abuse.

“Its safe, child-friendly environment will allow law enforcement, child protective services, prosecution, medical and mental health professionals to collaborate and develop strategies to provide justice and promote healing for victims of child abuse,” added Widman. “We are so proud to help raise money for this excellent community facility.”

The North American Title office will also offer hot cocoa, holiday cookies and the opportunity to decorate an ornament during its office hours, 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, throughout its fundraising effort.
