(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 21, 2016) Will Forness, a sixth grade student at Reinhardt Elementary School, was recognized by the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club today as a Rotary Student of Honor. He was presented the award during a luncheon program at Rotary Hall.
Reinhardt Couneselor Kelly Emerson introduced Will as “Mr. Right,” because he is “willing to work hard until it is right. He makes the right kind of grades; he’s gotten all As. He encourages friends to do what is right and stands by their side when they don’t seem right, and he lets them know it’s going to be all right.”
Emerson added that Will is respectful, kind, loyal and honest because he knows it is the right thing to do.
Will was also selected as Reinhardt’s Citizen of the Month during his birthday month of December.
“He takes initiative. He likes to challenge himself,” Emerson said.
Will is active in Choir and serves as a Library Helper. He is currently working on a project entitled “Project Bully” for the Digital Media Fair.
