(ROCKWALL, TX – Jan. 25, 2016) The Rockwall Area Retired Teachers Association, along with other several school districts in Region X, will present a special pre-retirement program for all interested educators on Saturday, Feb. 13.
If you are a Rockwall area teacher considering retiring this year or in the near future, this free event will present helpful information regarding your retirement. Doors will open at 9 a.m. with coffee, water and light snacks at the First Methodist Church, 801 West Ave. B in Garland. The program will get underway at 10. A representative from the Texas Retirement System will be one of the speakers.
