(ROCKWALL, TX – March 2, 2016) Voters across the 4thDistrict of Texas decisively re-elected Congressman John Ratcliffe to continue as their representative in Congress.
The race was called with Congressman Ratcliffe’s leading by over 50 points. His statement after the win:
“I’m grateful for the overwhelming vote of confidence from the 700,000 constituents of the Fourth District of Texas. Over the past year, I’ve fought back against President’s Obama’s reckless agenda every single day and stood up for the conservative, Texas values that our country needs. I’m proud of the positive campaign we ran that focused on my proven, conservative record instead of engaging in mud-slinging. Tonight’s results reinforce that integrity and honor do matter in politics. I look forward to going back to work on your behalf, and God willing, working with a Republican president in 2017.
