ROCKWALL, TX – March 17, 2016) Julia Keiser of Williams Middle School was recognized today by the Rockwall Noon Rotary Club as a Rotary Student of Honor. She was presented with the award during a luncheon program at Rotary Hall, with her parents and grandparents in attendance.
Principal David Blake commended Julie and shared some of her accomplishments, relaying what several of her teachers had to say about why she was nominated for this award. Her algebra teacher reported that Julia is respectful and quick to say thank you at the end of every class day. Julie is often seen in the hallway helping other students pick up things they may have dropped. Another teacher said that Julia was, without a doubt, the most positive and encouraging student at Williams Middle School – a strong leader and positive mentor who makes others want to follow her.
Another teacher echoed those sentiments, reporting that Julia is positive and outgoing, and takes pride in all the activities in which she participates, whether its academics, orchestra, theater, or athletics.
Principal Blake concluded by saying that Julia takes all AP classes and maintains straight A’s.
