(ROCKWALL, TX – March 21, 2016) Sterling National Financial Group, LLC has announced the kick-off of a brand new annual award program that recognizes public school district employees. The Sterling Shining Star Award can be won by any full-time staff member at a public school with the winners receiving a $10,000 cash award to be split between them and their school.

The ideal candidate will be someone who positively impacts the lives of students, exemplifies excellence, demonstrates community leadership and goes above and beyond professional responsibilities. Nominations can be made by anyone over 18. Anyone who works full-time in a public school may be nominated.
