(ROWLETT, TX – July 6, 2016) The City of Rowlett and STAR Transit announce the Rowlett Public Library has been added as a destination for the Rowlett Senior Shuttle Service, the FREE transportation service for Rowlett Seniors.
To qualify for this service, passengers must be 60 years old or older, reside in the Rowlett city limits and have a current membership to the Rowlett Community Centre or a program receipt. To go the library, proof of a library card will be required.
With the addition of the library comes a revised bus schedule which goes into effect, Tuesday, July 5th. The revised schedule is:
Monday 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Tuesday 8:30 am – 11:30 am
Wednesday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Thursday 9:00 am – 12:00 pm
Friday 12:00 pm – 3:00 pm
Those qualifying for this service may make reservations by calling 877-631-5278 and pressing 5. A dedicated agent takes calls Monday – Friday, 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
