ROCKWALL, TEXAS – July 8, 2016 – It is a sobering day in North Texas. Our thoughts and prayers in the City of Rockwall go out to our neighbors in the City of Dallas, and especially the Dallas Police Department and DART Police Department, today after the tragic events that unfolded in Dallas last night. As the details of this senseless crime come to light, our hearts go out to all the victims and their families. We salute the bravery of the men and women who serve in Dallas law enforcement agencies, and who have fought to protect people and keep them safe. It is our hope and prayer that the people of North Texas can come together in the aftermath of this horrible tragedy and begin to heal.
