(McKinney) The Happy Hounds Dog Agility Trial is free and open to the public this Saturday and Sunday, Jan. 14 and 15 at Myers Park and Event Center, 7117 CR 166 in McKinney.
Activities will take place in the Show Barn, the park’s 57,000 square foot multipurpose facility that serves as a venue for livestock shows, dog shows, horse shows, circuses, banquets and fundraisers.
Visitors are asked to leave pets at home as they come out to watch trained dogs run courses that include hoops, tunnels and teeter-totters in a timed agility trial.

Myers Park was originally created as the Collin County Youth Park in 1969 with acreage donated by John and Winnie Myers. It has since grown to more than 158 acres of rolling land, offering a variety of entertainment options. The Collin County Farm Museum is located at the park and is open to visitors and tour groups.
