(ROCKWALL, TX — January 3, 2018) Rep. John Ratcliffe (R-Texas) announced today the completion of Regional Representative Lorie Grinnan’s service in his Rockwall district office.
“Lorie is a recognized leader in the Rockwall community with nearly two decades of public service, and I’ve been incredibly grateful for her hard work and dedication as an invaluable member of my staff. Although I’m saddened she’ll no longer be a part of my district team, I wish Lorie the very best and know that she is looking forward to the days ahead,” Ratcliffe said.
“I would also like to thank Lorie for her considerable service to the community for so many years, and for helping us launch our Rockwall district office and local constituent services when Congressman Ratcliffe first took office back in January 2015. It has been a privilege to work together to help serve the constituents in the 4th Congressional District of Texas,” said Jason Ross, Ratcliffe’s district director.
“After 20 years of public service, I am excited to open a new chapter and pursue personal goals. I am thankful to Congressman Ratcliffe for the opportunity to serve as his representative for the past three years, and I am particularly proud of leading the Military Academy Nominations process. I will continue to fully support Mr. Ratcliffe, and I know only great things are ahead,” Grinnan said.
During her time as a regional representative, Grinnan helped open the Rockwall district office in 2015, was responsible for outreach throughout Rockwall, Hunt, Rains, Delta, and Hopkins Counties, and handled Academy nominations for all 18 counties in Texas’ 4th District.
Prior to serving on Ratcliffe’s district team for three years, she served on the RISD Board of Trustees for nine years and as Rockwall County Commissioner for eight years.
Ratcliffe submitted remarks to the Congressional Record to recognize Grinnan for her service, which can be viewed here.
