(ROCKWALL, TX – March 6, 2018) This past Saturday the Stingerette Show Stoppers (Elite Dance team) and officers competed at their second regional competition at the Marching Auxiliaries North Texas Regional Dance Contest at Liberty High School in Frisco.
The Show Stoppers won Super Sweepstakes, Outstanding Choreography, Outstanding Technique and Precision in Lyrical, Jazz and Open categories. The Show Stoppers also won Best in Class Elite Team.
The Stingerette Officers won Supersweepstakes, Best Choreography, Best Technique and the highest score in Jazz, Contemporary, Lyrical and Open. The Stingerette officers won Winners Circle and High Point, sweeping the competition.
Brooke Peterson and Julia Blevins also took home first place duet and Tatum Graham and Jessi Schmitt were selected as Solo Finalists.
The Stingerette Team, elite, and officers compete again this coming weekend in our last regionals contest before Nationals.
