In an email to parents on Friday, Feb. 7, the Rockwall ISD said, “In an abundance of caution, you may observe additional law enforcement presence on or near campuses on Monday, Feb. 10. The Rockwall Police Department notified us of individuals who may want to protest local law enforcement at government locations, including the possibility of schools, on Monday. We appreciate the support of our local officials, and we want to be sure to communicate with our families the reason for any increase in police presence on Monday. As always, the safety of our students and staff is our top priority.”
