Royse City ISD employees receive $500 surprise bonus today

ROYSE CITY, TX (August 14, 2020) An early morning email from Royse City ISD Superintendent Kevin Worthy held a $500 surprise for employees. This includes ALL employees with the exception of temporary staff. All teachers, aids, bus drivers, custodians, food service workers, etc. This measure was approved by the school board on Monday evening.

This incentive check and give-back opportunity was made possible in part by:
– conservative budgeting and enrollment growth beyond expectation
– savings from the spring including subs, field trips, limited travel, fuel, etc.
